An Italian Name

Francesca Archibugi directs 'An Italian Name', an Italian comedy with Alessandro Gassman, Micaela Ramazzotti, Valeria Golino, Luigi Lo Cascio and Rocco Papelo. The scenery is an apparently quiet dinner among friends, with Betta and Snadro (Valeria Golino and Luigi Lo Cascio) as hosts. There's also Paolo (Alessandro Gassman), Betta's brother, who arrives with a very beautiful girl called Simona (Micaela Ramazzotti), and there's also Claudio (Rocco Papaleo), an old friend. Despite knowing that it's from people with bad manners to speak about politics in the table, Paolo, who is very conservative, announces that his future son will have the name of Benito. Like Mussolini. War is served in 'An Italian Name', a remake of the french film 'Le prénom' of Alexandre de la Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte.
