Ambulance

Will Sharp (Yahya Abudul-Mateen II) enlists the help of his adopted brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhall), a career criminal, to help pay his wife's medical bills. He proposes a bank robbery in Los Angeles, from which they will try to get 32 million dollars. Although Will is initially not convinced, he has no choice if he wants to save his wife. Both come to an agreement and decide to pull off the heist. At first, everything seems to go according to plan. However, during the escape, they hijack an ambulance with an injured policeman and an EMT named Cam Thompson (Eiza Gonzalez). This triggers a chase through the city, trying to avoid the massive security detail that has been deployed as they try to get out of there alive. As if confronting the authorities wasn't enough, inside the vehicle they will also encounter a whole host of problems.

It is directed and produced by Michael Bay, with a screenplay by Chris Fedak (Prodigal Son). In addition to Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhall, Yahya Abdul Mateen II ('Matrix Resurrections') and Eiza González ('Baby Driver'), the cast is rounded out by Devan Chandler Long, Garret Dillahunt, Keir O'Donnell, Moses Ingram, Colin Woodell, Jackson White, Andy Favreau, Jesse Garcia, Kayli Tran and José Pablo Cantillo.
