Amalia en el otoño

She has just turned 77 and Amalia has been a widow for more than a decade. She has two children, Isabel and Juan, but she lives alone because Juan is in the United States and Isabel does not have time for her since she is an important lawyer and has to go outside of Spain to work. Concerned for her well-being, Isabel decides to put her against her will in a nursing home where Amalia discovers, to her surprise, that life there is not as she expected and she meets some colleagues who make her happy. her life.

Miguel also lives in the residence, who has a daughter who has just discovered her existence. Clara has just arrived in Spain from Colombia and visits him every week. After meeting Amalia she has a little confrontation with Adolfo, a roommate and a very authoritarian bank retiree who wanted to be a bullfighter when he was young. His continuous stealth escapes from the residence put all the workers in the center in check. The problem is that all this happens in 2020 and shortly after COVID arrives it bursts into everyone's lives, putting things "in their place" again.

The film is directed and written by Anna Utrecht and Octavio Lasheras. It stars María José Alfonso, Manuel Zarzo, Máximo Valverde, Jesús Guzman and Guillermo Montesinos.
