Aloys

Aloys Adorn is a middle aged detective whom lives with his father. Everything is safe for Aloys, he records people from a distance, through a video camera he keeps recording twenty four hours a day, adding to the huge collection of tapes and film that he has at home. However, when his father dies, Aloys is suddenly on his own, and his carefully built secular reality starts to come apart around him. After a night of getting black out drunk, Aloys wakes up on a bus to see that his tapes have been stolen. Soon, a woman calls and blackmails him. She will release the tapes if Aloys tries a strange Japanese invention called telephone walking with her, using his imagination as their only connection. Aloys is drawn deeper and deeper, falling further in love with the voice on the other end of the line. This woman opens up a new world for Aloys, which might allow him to shed his shell and experience the real world.
