All the Wild Horses

'All the wild horses' focusses on the Mongol Derby, the longest horse race in the world which invites contestants from all over the world to compete in a 1000km race through harsh terrain and even harsher conditions. The race lasts for eight days and is as much a test of endurance for the riders as well as the horses.

Competitors often put a lot on the line to enter this race, and the film really delves deep into the human experience of it all against the rural Mongolian backdrop. But, as with all races, there can only be one winner, and that becomes clearer and clearer as each of the competitors succumb to the extremities.

The film is directed by Ivo Marloh who was also in charge of the screenplay.
