Plot
'All Saints' is based on the true story of Michael Spurlock, played by John Corbett. Michael Spurtlock quits his career as a salesman to become a minister. He is assigned to a small, old-fashioned but charming country church with about a dozen members.
There is a problem he did not anticipated: he has to close the church and sell it alongside the land properties where its been built. Michael refuses to go through with this plan. He and his family want to settle in.
When the church starts to accept refugees from Burma (from Southeast Asia), Michael feels his duty is to help them. The refugees are former farmers, so the congregation decides to turn the church lands into crops to pay the church bills and give shelter to the new arrivals.
Michael is between two choices: protect his family and sell the properties like his bosses want or fight with the community to save the church.
The film is directed by Steve Gomer ('Barney's Great Adventure'). The cast consists of Cara Buono ('Stranger Things'), John Corbett ('Northern Exposure') and Barry Corbin ('Not Country for Old Men').
