Plot
'Again Once Again' is a mix between a documentary and a fictional story. It narrates the story of Romina. She lives in the mountain range area in Cordoba with her boyfriend, the father of her son Ramon. Romina decides to be apart from her significant other for a while and she moves to her mother's house in Buenos Aires. There she tries to clear her mind about what to do with her partner. While she thinks about what the next step in her life should be, she teaches german. In Buenos Aires, Romina starts to live her life as a single woman, meeting new people and going out to party at night. She thinks over what does it mean to be a mother and what does it mean to be a daughter. She wants to discover who she really is without a boyfriend and without her son, even thought Ramon is who she loves most in the whole world. Due to this new experiences, she will return to her origins, her roots, and rediscover her family history.
This Argetinian film directed by Romina Paula ('Viola') was presented at the Bright Future section in Rotterdam Film Festival. The cast includes Esteban Bigliardi ('The summit'), Pablo Sigal ('La flor'), Mariana Chaud ('Historias extraordinarias'), Denise Groesman ('Hortensia'), Monica Rank and Ramon Cohen Arazi. This is the directorial debut of the actress and author Romina Paula.
