Plot
Based on the namesake novel written by Anna Todd. Tessa Young, a newcomer in college, suddenly meets the mysterious Hardin Scott. In an intent to earn her trust, Hardin will turn Tessa's regular life upside down. From hate to interest and then to attraction, Tessa will discover all of Hardin's secrets and her life will never be the same. The story's origin
The original plot for 'After', written by Anna Todd, emerged on the storytelling web "Wattpad" as a fan-fiction between Tessa Young and "One Direction's" band ex-member Harry Styles.
Movie rights movements
The movie rights were sold in the first place to Paramount. Although, Anna Todd wanted more freedom to adapt his movie, so the rights were given back and then sold to Aviron.
