Absolution

An old gangster, now retired, begins to be diagnosed with memory loss that is causing him serious problems in his daily life. Fearing that he will forget his loved ones and before it is too late, the protagonist decides to mend his relationship with his daughter, whom he had abandoned due to the criminal world he was involved in, which could pose a risk to her.

However, crime has not forgotten his name, so he will have to confront his former associates from over 20 years ago, now his nemeses, to achieve the inner peace and tranquility he so desires. Fortunately, he has not forgotten them yet, so he will be able to think about crime one last time to put an end to it once and for all. To achieve this, he reunites with an old ally who provides him with information and weapons for his dangerous mission.

This film directed by Hans Petter Moland ('One After Another') stars Liam Neeson (the 'Taken' saga) as the retired criminal. The cast also includes Yolonda Ross, Frankie Shaw ('SMILF'), Daniel Diemer, Javier Molina ('Reminiscence'), and Ron Perlman ('Hellboy') as the protagonist's old ally who helps him in his mission. The movie is distributed in Spain by the YouPlanet Pictures company. It releases it in national theaters the 3rd of January.
