Plot
In 2008 an event took place that hit the United States and Europe: the crisis of subprime mortgages. It was a financial crisis in which the Central Banks began to grant and increase their mortgage loans to people with a dubious credit category, like, with unstable jobs. Although it has multiple and varied causes, it was believed that the point of origin was a small bank called Abacus, which was located in Chinatown and was run by a Chinese family. This documentary tells us the decision of the bank to fight against the charges of the prosecution to clear the surname Sung. It has been directed by Steve James, and here we can see another aspect of the great economic crisis of this century from another point of view.
