Plot
'A Wrinkle in Time' is based on the book by writer, Madeleine L'Engle.
Jennifer Lee wrote the screenplay which will tell the story about a family whose father worked for the government, who, one day suddenly disappears. Not long after, one of his children, a young teenage girl, is visited by a mysterious woman during a dark and stormy night. This woman sends the younger girl on a trip across time and space in order to not only find her missing father, but to save him from whatever is keeping him from returning home. Things only complicate further when it is revealed that the daughter is the only thing that can save him.
'A Wrinkle in Time' will be directed by Ava DuVernay, director of 'Selma'.
