A War

Directed by Tobias Lindholm and starring one of the most recognized faces of Denmark, Pilou Asbæk, this film was selected by the Danish Film Academy to represent the country at the 88th edition of the Academy Awards. The commander Pedersen has a great moral and professional dilemma. It is stationed in Afghanistan, where every day sees consequences of war. He's tired with his service, he is torn between severe military regulations, the responsibility for his team and Afghan civilians who trust in him and his desire to return home and perform their work as a parent with his wife and three children . It will not be easy, because if waiver would face severe disciplinary board. Moral values and dilemmas in this war drama in which the human part is what's reflected.
