A vingança de uma mulher

'A vingança de uma mulher' is an adaptation of the namesake short story included in 'Les Diaboliques' written by Jules Barbey d'Aurevilly. The film, directed by Rita Azevedo Gomes ('A Colecção Invisível', 'O Som da Terra a Tremer'), tells the story of Roberto, a dandy who, after being in some party rooms in Lisboa, meets a mysterious young woman who is the daughter of one of the most important men of Spain. Both two begin a tragic love story that ends with blood and revenge. Rita Durão ('E o Tempo Passa', 'Off to the Revolution in a 2CV') and Fernando Rodrigues ('O Fatalista', 'Diana') are the protagonist of 'A vingança de uma mulher'. Hugo Tourita, Duarte Martins and Francisco Nascimento take also part in the film.
