A Sort of Family

This co-production between Argentina, Brazil, France, Poland, Germany and Denmark tells the story of Malena. This is a 38 year old doctor from Buenos Aires. She can not complain because she leads a comfortable life in her middle class status and has taken an important step in her life: adopting a child. One afternoon she receives a call from Dr. Costas, who informs her that she must travel to the north of the country for an important event: the waiting son is about to be born. It is then that Malena decides to embark on an uncertain journey, full of doubts and obstacles, facing all kinds of obstacles that will make her wonder if she is willing to give everything she has, everything she has been, to meet her son.
