Timothée Chalamet announced on his Instagram account that he would donate his entire salary for the film to LGBT associations and support of victims of sexual abuse in order to "not benefit" from having worked with a man (Woody Allen) accused of abuse. Rebecca Hal did the same in benefit of the Time's Up movement.
Legal conflict
The film has significantly delayed its release after Amazon and Woody Allen broke their distribution contract and the company sued the director for $68 million.
