A Kid Like Jake

This film is an LGBT production based on the work premiered at the Lincoln Center in New York in 2013.

The story takes us to the New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, where the Wheeler couple live. This is a marriage formed by Alex (Claire Danes) and Greg (Jim Parsons), who have a four year old son named Jake (Leo James Davis). The problems of the couple begin when they must face a curious situation, their child likes to dress as princesses more than playing with car toys. The couple must rethink the roles at home when the preschool teacher of Jake tells them that it is not just a temporary phase of the child.

Written by the script writer of the original play, Daniel Pearle, and directed by Silas Howard.
