Plot
Documentary film that follows the Norwegian band a-ha over a four-year period, sharing the wonderful story of how three young Norwegians achieved their impossible dream of making it in music. a-ha is Norway's biggest pop group, with great achievements under their belt, and their smash hit 'Take On Me' is in everyone's head, having been one of the most played songs of the last millennium. With their timeless music, iconic music videos and the magic of their members, the band continues to fill stadiums around the world. They tour the world together but travel and stay apart backstage. They only meet on stage, while doing the one thing they love, playing. This film portrays up close the challenging creative and personal dynamics of a group of three strong personalities. This is a story of good music, big ambitions, broken friendship and perhaps, forgiveness. When 'Take On Me' (from 'Hunting High and Low' album) hit #1 in the U.S. in 1985, that dream became a reality. The band was unprepared for what success could bring, including the tension between them.
