A Great Friend

The distributor 'A Contracorriente Films' will release the film 'Las cosas sencillas' on October 20, 2023. The film follows the story of Vincent, an arrogant, successful and famous businessman who knows no failure. Everything he undertakes turns out well. His career has been full of triumphs. He has lived a life full of success and seems to have an ideal present.

But life will test him one morning when he goes for a ride in his luxurious sports car. An unexpected problem occurs on the trip, the car breaks down and your day will be affected by the complicated situation.

As a consequence, the meeting with Pierre will be provoked. A man who has a lifestyle totally contrary to that of a conceited businessman. He lives in nature, away from the modern world. He has a simple life without material excesses.

The accident forces Pierre to come to the rescue with his motorcycle. At the place, he meets the proud injured man to whom he offers his help and hospitality.

The relationship between these two men with opposite experiences will be complicated at first, but Vicent will decide to extend the trip and stay in that unknown territory. There, both characters will question whether they are really happy with the life they lead or if they should be different. It will lead them to ask themselves the most unpleasant things that will change them forever.
