Plot
Pietra director Brett Kelly follows a group of Afghan moviegoers who are literally digging the cinematic past of their origin ocuntry, in an attempt to recover 8,000 hours of film footage which they risked their lives hiding during the Taliban era. A touching story directed and written by Pietra BrettKelly. All this work is led by Ibrahim Arify who has been imprisoned, for making films, for the Muyahadines and then he flees the country to seek a new life in Germany. Now its purpose is to rebuild the Afghanistan cinematographic. A New Zealanddocumentary produced by PBK Limited. The film has participated in several festivals like in the Venice Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and in the Hong Kong film festival, among others.
