A Cure for Wellness

The American director Gore Verbinski returns to the horror genre after doing a remake of the Japanese horror movie 'The Ring' in 2002. The story revolves around a man, played by the actor Dane DeHaan, who must travel to the Swiss Alps to meet his boss to bring him back after leaving a therapeutic institute. What looks like a simple trip, soon turns complicated when he discovers that his boss has disappeared. After the mysterious event, the protagonist must stay to find out what happened to his boss, because they have not any explanation, therefore lengthening his stay in the Swiss village. Problems start to arise when he discovers that something sinister is happening, and not just fearing for the life of his boss, but also his own. 'A Cure for Wellness' is Gore Verbinski's next project, after his previous films 'The Lone Ranger' and the latest films of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
