A Brighter Tomorrow

'A Brighter Tomorrow' is a comedy that takes place in Rome, in the 50s. It talks about the circus industry and the film industry and also tells the story of a film director who has trouble with his family and with the last film he made, which is about the impact that the Italian Communist Party had in the Russian invasion of Hungary in year 1956.

This movie is starred by Nanni Moretti, Margherita Buy, Silvio Orlando, Barbora Bobulova, Mathieu Amalric and Valentina Romani, among others. And it's produced by Sacher Film Rome, Fandango Produzione and RAI Cinema. The main character, Giovanni, is a famous italian cinema director who is preparing to film his new movie.

But this task won't be as easy as it seems because of his problematic relationship, a french producer who is at the edge of bankruptcy and his daughter, who couldn't care less for him. It looks like this director has everything against him and is always pushing the limit.

This is the reason why Giovanni will have to start rethinking his way of doing things if he wants to take his small world a brighter future, at least brighter than his current situation.

This witty comedy is directed by the main character himself, Nanni Moretti. It also counts with the collaboration of Federica Pontremoli, Valia Santella y Francesca Marciano.
