80 for Brady

'80 for Brady' is a film directed by Kyle Marvin based on true events, specifically the group of Patriots fans "Over 80 for Brady". The film follows four main women: Lou, Trish, Maura, and Betty. The ladies became fans of the NFL 15 years ago, when they were celebrating Lou having finished chemotherapy. Now—the film is set in 2017—as the Super Bowl approaches, Lou suggests attending the event live. However, her friends are hesitant due to the high price of tickets.

Eventually, Lou enters a radio contest and wins the tickets, so the four friends make their way to Houston, where that year's Super Bowl LI is held. There, the four retirees live a complete American football experience, meeting players, other celebrities, and seeing the facilities. Trish gets involved with another guest, Betty enters a spicy food contest, and Maura and Trish go wild with hallucinogenic mushrooms.

After almost being expelled from the stadium, they finally end up watching the game and personally meeting Tom Brady. It is then that we learn the reasons for Lou's desire to go to the Super Bowl: she has recently undergone a new medical test and fears that her cancer may have returned...
