5 Fingers

'5 fingers', also known as 'Operation Cicero', is a 1952 thriller directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz with a script written by Michael Wison based on the book by L.C. Moyzisch, a Nazi military attached at the German Embassy in Turkey on the final years of the World War II. This film, based on true events, focuses on one of the most famous spies of the World War II, a spy who worked for the Nazi while he was employed by the British ambassador in Turkey. He provided numerous photographies and top secret documents to their compatriot on the German Embassy through Moyzisch. James Mason stars in the film as the German spy who used the code name Cicero to do all the work. It was nominated for two Academy Awards, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
