Trivia
"Daisy Bell", the song that Dane Cook's character (Cole Dvorak) sings while walking in search of Tranquility, is the same song that HAL 9000 sings in 2001: An Space Odissey (1968) while Dave Bowman is disabling him.
Tom Cavanagh, Caity Lotz, and Brandon Routh have large roles in the CW's 'Arrow' (2012) and 'The Flash' (2014) TV universe.
Matt Osterman didn't reveal the symbolic significance within the film but he created a blog that hosts many of the fan theories about the possible meanings of the story.
