The Hollywood Academy of Movie Picture Arts and Science presents its awards, which will be given on February the 26th 2017. Several Oscar nominees such as Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Emmanuel Lubezki, Jason Reitman and Ken Watanabe will announce this year's nominations, along with Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
The ceremony will take place as usual at the Los Angeles Dolby Theatre. This is the 89th Edition of the awards, which go to films premiered in 2016. The host of the year is Jimmy Kimmel, famous late night anchorman.
The Oscars are the most followed and anticipated cinematic awards every year, with different festivals, Critics awards and Guild awards building up a race that ends in the Oscars night.
